Radiology encompasses the detection of all types of disease using ionizing beams, radiation protection, diagnostics employing ultrasound waves and magnet resonance as well as diagnostic and therapeutic interventions performed with the help of imaging procedures.
Future physicians are systematically introduced to radiology and can reinforce their knowledge in internships and clinical rotations. Special lectures are devoted to important topics like "Fit for the Night Shift" or "How to Write a Scientific Paper." For the past 15 years we have also offered ONLINE courses in which our students can network with colleagues throughout the world.
The wide range of professional development opportunities at the Medical University of Graz is directed at a variety of occupational groups in the fields of medicine, science and research, nursing and health services. Most of the professional development courses can be completed while the participant is regularly employed and provide him/her with a valuable additional qualification.
